Sometimes its best to let thing boil over
To turn the heat up
and let the soup sizzle on the burner
and fill your kitchen with black plumes
Because it beats waiting
and not knowing
if things are going to get hot enough.
I'll turn the heat up
and see what happens
because I'm really not concerned
with getting burned.
