Leggy

I had a friend
who was hungry
and in a hurry
as she shaved her leg.

She cut her ankle
and it bled for twelve hours
finally
she called her sister.

"Go to urgent care"
she told her
and wouldn't
you know
the blood stopped
as she walked through the clinic doors.
