Mermorials
I read the Gettysburg Address carved in stone by the tired marble gaze of a President bearing the weight of two nations on a broken back.
Kids laugh, teens kiss, and parents look anxious for a smoke.
And I hope I get it, Because blood ran and bones shattered to get me here.
