Interesting

"Interesting"
I wonder if that is my answer,
not a word on content,
form,
or grace.

Not that flattery is what I want
even a critique would show synthesis
on something I created.

Blame it on gen y
but I'm leaning towards pears.

(Sorry, this one probably makes less sense than others, let me know if you want clarification)

Decisions

Sometimes
we make decisions
by spinning around
until out brain swims
and walk in a direction
based on where our inner ear pulls.

Other times
we pick a road
that seems well trod and safe
-or brambled and precipitous-
Same difference.

Still others
we choose because we love
the land, the river, and the sky
the sun, the snow, and the slicing wind.
